In One Sentence:
Orbotech is looking for a Demand Planner for the Global Service Supply Chain (GSSC) team who is responsible of the planning & distribution of spare parts according to agreed service level and Quality targets.
What Will Your Job Look Like?
o Periodically tracking, follow-up and analysis of Global Spare Parts planning/demand/forecast KPI’s (such planned MOI, planned inventory, SLA etc.) using reports, BI tools and ERP system.
o Define the global planning methods, processes, measurements and tools to support the team’s goals.
o Work and lead in a cross functional environment with multiple organizations (local and global)
o Initiate and lead continues improvement of the demand and inventory planning on a global level.
o Project Management – drive and lead related projects
What Do You Need to Succeed?
o B.Sc. In Industrial Engineering or equivalent
o At least 1-2 years of similar experience
o Experienced in working in or with global corporation – an advantage
o Very high analytical skills, detailed oriented
o High personal skills
o Willingness for extensive work
o Multi-tasking and ability to work with number of disciplines in parallel
o Experience with ERP – An asset
o Masterfulness in Excel – mandatory
o High English proficiency
